Gerry Conway on immigration and supposed religious fanaticism
SCREAMING WITH FRUSTRATION "TSA ‘Behavior Detection’ Program Targeting Undocumented Immigrants, Not Terrorists" https://t.co/cbxpXS0dYJ

Sigh. He won't consider that there have been terrorists who crossed the border while posing as illegal aliens, which, come to think of it, they are. But, if that's what he thinks, how come he hasn't criticized the Obama administration for letting it get out of hand? Oh, right, he'll make separations when he thinks it suits him. Only a Republican-led government is suited for scapegoating in his mind.

Tsk tsk tsk. So Christianity/Judaism is fanaticism, but Islamofascism never is, nor its motivations for al Qaeda, Hamas, and Boko Haram. This isn't the first time Conway's signaled hostility to Israel (and maybe the USA?). A few years ago, he wrote these disgusting tweets as well. That's why he's such a leading example on a big list of writers whose art you'd have to separate from the artist, or take with a grain of salt. And he actually read and wrote the creations of descendants of Israel, and worked alongside plenty of them decades before! We can only wonder if today, he's the kind of man who's happy to just take the money and run. Yet simultaneously, he doesn't sound like a very happy man.

Muhammad should've stayed a "prophet" instead of being promoted to "warlord" after he fled from Mecca, then all this fuss wouldn't be happening.

Gerry Conway is an anti-Israel antisemitic piece of shit. Just look at some of his old Tweets.

Israel evacuated its own people from Gaza, left 3000 greenhouses standing to help the Palestinian economy, and gave the "Palestinians" what no one (not Egypt, not the Turkish Empire, not the British) had ever given them: an independent state. The Palestinians responded by electing Hamas, demolishing the green houses, and attacking Israel.
Hamas was elected by majority vote, so its terrorism and aggression cannot be explained away as the aberrant behavior of only "some Palestinians" who are "delusional."
Conway's anti-Israel tweets show a typical leftist resentment against honest work and achievement.
The Israelis took a wasteland and worked hard to turn it into a civilized democracy with a high standard of living. If it had been the opposite, i.e., if Palestine had been a garden and the Jews had turned it into a wasteland (as the Muslims have done with Gaza), then Conway and his fellow liberals would probably be militant Zionists.

Anon: "Progressives" like Conway always have to side with the underdog ... that is, underdogs who continually play the victim and who make the Conways of the world feel good about themselves because appear to help "those in need."
Never mind that Israel is the REAL underdog. But it had the audacity to get together and build a stable, thriving country instead of mewling to anyone who would listen (like Conway) about how disadvantaged and oppressed they are.
