Found on Newsarama's blog. It doesn't matter if she survives, this is just another example of DC's overboard journey into violence and abuse of both Donna and Eclipso. among countless others. And all this while, Yolanda Montez and Beth Chapel, the Infinity Inc. team members who were slain in Eclipso: The Darkness Within crossover in 1993, still remain dead and forgotten.
Because if we're going to try and stop the misuse of our favorite comics and their protagonists by the companies that write and publish them, we've got to see what both the printed and online comics news is doing wrong. This blog focuses on both the good and the bad, the newspaper media and the online websites. Unabashedly. Unapologetically. Scanning the media for what's being done right and what's being done wrong.

Anyone remember a time when liberals were actually against violence against women? In the time to come we'll probably find out all three women were secretly conservatives, which, according to the powers-that-be at DC, would make it okay.
ReplyDeleteThat the people at DC feel these depections are okay, no matter in what comtext, is more than just sad --it's both dishearting and alarming.
I agree with Tnnumber, although, I think they just hate Donna. Or, they hate Wonder Woman, but she's too beloved, so we'll get the younger version, instead. Horrible.
ReplyDeleteWas she stuffed into a fridge afterward?
ReplyDeleteCurious to see what Gail Simone has to say about this one...
likely not anything good.
ReplyDeletegheez
I have to wonder why the feminazis are basically mum on this God known Gloria Von Steinem couldn't keep her mouth shut when it came to turning WW into some kind of Vunder Fraulein.
ReplyDeleteMore's the pity, because on the issue of violence against women would be one of the times I would agree with them.
Hey not all of us are Nazi's and A lot of girls who read comics such as myself are speaking out about it.
ReplyDeleteBecause things like this and using events such as 9/11 to tell stories of rape and violence.
not only perpetuates the idea that Violence against women is okay it cool.It disrespects the dead as well.
