Marvel continues to show a lack of creativity

In Spider-Man's latest post-OMD non-story, Peter Parker gets fired from the Daily Bugle, just like he did 3 decades ago when he turned to work at the Daily Globe for a short time instead.

When is Quesada going to get his own notice of dismissal already? Seeing Peter Parker in a repetitive state of poverty is utterly tiresome today.

Then there's Ultimate Comics: Avengers #5...

*SPOILERS*

Red Skull, while holding a infant, forces a woman kill her husband. Throws the baby out the window anyway and his goons gang-raped the woman who was turned out to be the Wasp

No need for a spoiler warning there, it sounds spoiled rotten as it is. :)

ZOMG, 30-year-old Peter getting fired for a job that he should have quit at 18!

You know what would have been really original about having Peter Parker getting fired? If it had been because of Barry O's recession.

  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
