Bill Finger does deserve credit as Batman's co-creator

The Washington Post's Comic Riffs section spoke about how, decades after the Masked Manhunter was first created, Bill Finger doesn't receive credit as a co-creator for Batman, unlike Bob Kane, who does, and there's apparently a legal clause that keeps that from being enabled, even in the movie adaptations.
I do agree there that Finger does deserve credit, and Time Warner should start making changes to that effect to state clearly that he's as much a creator as Kane was.
