Mark Waid slips back to vulgarity

It began when he wrote the following about a HuffPost article that I have no idea makes sense or not, and then, what he said in reply to a now ex-fan:

Sigh. Here he goes again with that horrible routine. I'd like to think after he drew notice from Twitchy the last time he melted down, he'd learn his lesson and turn over a new leaf, and it looked like he was apologizing at one point. But no. As Waid's proven with this, he's turned back to profanity yet again. And this is the result:

He caused a guy whom he'd met at a Capt. America movie screening, who bought some of his more recent work no matter how questionable it was, to turn away from him. Is that what Waid wanted? Well, he got it. And it may only be a matter of time before more liberals tire of him too.

Labels: ,

On the bright side, Waid is a comic book writer, not a diplomat. If he worked for the US State Department, he might have gotten stationed in Russia and started World War Three.

Absolutely amazing. How the comics companies put up with his more-than-obvious anger issues is beyond me.

Bravo to the [former] fan who canceled his order.

Years ago, comic books were produced by adults, and were bought and read by kids. Today, it's almost completely the other way around.

LOVE that line, anon! I gotta steal it ...!

Using that logic, since I work for one of the leading mutual fund companies, I must be running an abortion factory.

Ah, the crazy lengths lefties will go to. Including killing millions.

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
