Mark Waid is defending Brian Williams
A bang-on comment about the Brian Williams tempest: http://t.co/UKjC1oBQYY

And he uses one of the shoddiest left wing sites on the web to make his case, whose writer repeats the cliche about there supposedly being no WMDs in Iraq. Sorry, but whatever they have to say isn't worth the kilobytes it was posted on.
Interestingly, another left wing paper, The Washington Post (via Newsbusters and AIM), exposed a lot more of Williams' fabrications, on issues like Hurricane Katrina and such, and reveal Williams as much more of a dishonest man than hitherto thought. So Waid's only making himself look more ridiculous by excusing a man who represented the worst in mainstream reporting.

I have come to believe that extremists will side by a person no matter what as long as they are on the same side.
They slowly are starting to eat their own maybe they are running out of causes to create fake issues out of so who knows what the future will hold.

Waid, Marz, and the Daily Kos all defend Williams with the same basic argument: "So's your old man."
It's the same excuse that Obama uses to ignore or downplay Islamic terrorism. At the National Prayer Breakfast on Feb. 5, he said that "we" can't get on "our high horse" about ISIS, because, in the past, "terrible deeds were committed in the name of Christ."
We are supposed to forget about Benghazi because it was "like, two years ago." With Clinton's scandals, "We've moved beyond that," and "We need to put it behind us and move on." But Christians are supposed to wear a hair shirt over the Inquisition (500 years ago) and the Crusades (800 years ago).
BTW, WMD's were found in Syria, after they were moved out of Iraq, and Bush never cited WMD's as the sole reason for invading Iraq anyway.
And I guarantee that, if WMD's had been found in Iraq, then Waid, Marz, et al. would be promoting "throwaway gun" conspiracy theories, claiming that the weapons were planted by the CIA.
