Here's a screencap of a retweet by Mark Waid, of a comment made after a Germanwings plane was destroyed by a mentally ill pilot who concealed his situation from the airline staff:
Now what's Waid's point by extension? Of course no realist thinks only Islamofascists could carry out terrorist attacks (even the Japanese Red Army, a communist movement, committed terrorism years ago), but in this particular case, there's a certain difference: this wasn't a situation where the culprit was motivated by ideologies. Rather, he was crazy on a level that had nothing to do with religion. And if Waid's trying on his part to say nobody thinks a crime on such a high scale counts as an act of terrorism when a non-Muslim is the culprit, that's stupid and insulting.

Alas, his insistence on injecting such severe leftist agendas into his writing on Daredevil these past couple years does little more than suggest he doesn't love DD, or anything else for that matter. Which could explain why he has no complaints about Slott's awful writing.
