Gene Ha tries some kind of moral equation

He tweets about a trip he took with Bill Willingham:
If he thinks that's going to absolve him of any bad positions he holds, forget it. Besides, Willingham's proven himself a poor example for a right-winger in the past: he was part and parcel of Batman: War Games, and the initial decision to kill off Stephanie Brown/Spoiler. He also co-wrote DCU: Decisions with Judd Winick, a political miniseries that went nowhere, and shoved unnecessary political views on at least half the cast in a story that was better avoided. Willingham proved himself such a knee-jerk writer with that - one who even insulted the audience - that a partnership with him doesn't sound so odd for men like Ha.
If Ha really wants to prove he's not hostile to conservatives, he'd strike up a friendship with Chuck Dixon and Mike Baron, for example, and even help get the mainstream to stop marginalizing them. As far as I know, Baron hasn't written any Marvel books for nearly 2 decades, and they don't seem intent on hiring him again in the forseeable future. And there doesn't seem to be much chance Ha's willing to help turn that around either. If not, then his partnerships with Willingham are just cheap excuses meant to deflect any valid criticism of the ultra-liberal mindset.

I'd have said something a little more accurate to describe the guy, but I don't think the guy running this site could take that kind of language.
