The Baltimore Sun/Carroll County Times spoke about Penguin Random House employing a local distribution center in the area for Marvel products:

Westminster and Hampstead comic book fans might be glad to hear Marvel Comics will soon be distributed directly from the very towns in which they live.

This would mean a lot more if it weren't for the fact Marvel hasn't turned out entertaining stuff in years, after they sold out to social justice propaganda. Based on which, what's the use of this when there'll be little or nothing for a realist to look forward to?

In March, Marvel Comics and Penguin Random House Publisher Services, a division of Penguin Random House, announced an exclusive worldwide multi-year sales and distribution agreement for Marvel’s newly published and backlist comic books, trade collections, and graphic novels to comics shops.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for us,” Applebaum said, while Marvel is one of the largest publishers of comic content, coming out with new titles every Wednesday.

Penguin Random House will be responsible for distributing to over 2,000 comic book shops nationwide.

Will that include politically motivated stuff, along with terrible artwork of recent, that they'll be distributing? Nothing exciting about that.

Hampstead resident John Wilson has been a self-proclaimed “giant Marvel nerd” for well over a decade now.

“This is another way to put Hampstead on the map,” he said. “To have that here is a big deal.”

What if Marvel doesn't have much longer to go in business because of their terrible practices that got their start under Joe Quesada, continued with Axel Alonso, and much of what still turns up under C.B. Cebulski? All the bad steps they took are why it's not a big deal to have them in the neighborhood anymore. If they do eventually go under, it won't put the county on the map for long. There's just no point being excited about this venture anymore.
