The Daily Wire reports that Jonathan Majors, who played Kang in Ant-Man: Quantumania, has been convicted on charges of assault and harassment:

A New York jury convicted Marvel actor Jonathan Majors on Monday of two misdemeanor accounts stemming from an assault on his ex-girlfriend earlier this year.

The six-person jury found Majors guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and guilty of harassment. The jury acquitted him of two counts, including intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in second degree.

Sentencing in the case is set for February 6.

The charges stemmed from an alleged altercation that he had with his then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in a car. She was left with a broken finger and a bloodied ear from the attack. [...]

The conviction of Majors, who played the character of Kang in multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe films and television shows, will likely lead to Marvel recasting the actor or eliminating the character entirely, as has been speculated since the allegations first surfaced.

I think he only played the role once in film, though from what I checked on his IMDB page, he's also made 5 appearances in the Loki television program. But, however many comics projects he ever appeared in until now, this is certainly going to taint them all and age them poorly. It's sad enough the current batch is badly affected with wokeness. But these kind of incidents make everything much worse. As for Majors' career, it won't be surprising if his career in films and TV is over.
