French comics about aviation

Dassault Aviation has a short item about comics focused on airplanes by a noted artist:
“Angel Wings”, “Au-delà des nuages”, “Pin-Up Wings”, “Le Pilote à l’Edelweiss”, “Le Grand Duc” … Five iconic comic books in fans’ eyes that have a common thread, and not just any common thread: Romain Hugault.

Following in his father’s footsteps, the illustrator, whose father was a pilot, found his calling early in life. He passed his pilot’s license at just 17, before contributing to various books for the French Air Force. He trained at the famous Estienne school of art and design where he cut his teeth as an illustrator, producing the comic book “Le Dernier Envol” shortly afterwards.
Looks like somebody developed comics about a subject USA creators aren't all eager to give a serious spotlight to. And clearly did a good job. Congratulations to the guy.
