Star of 1970s live action Wonder Woman makes more political statements

Breitbart reports actress Lynda Carter, once famous for playing Wonder Woman in the late 1970s on TV, has taken to making divisive political statements, much like she did 3 years earlier, this time on Blue Sky:

Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter, the actress who once said one month to celebrate the LGBTQIA2S+ community “felt so short,” is now saying Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) is “fundamentally American.”

"DEI" is not a bad word. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamentally American – a reflection of who we actually are. After centuries of erasure, we've seen progress in representation in recent years, and I don’t want to go back.

Quite simply, DEI exists to help our institutions and media more accurately represent the true demographics of the United States. Attempting to address many wrongs that will take a long time to make right.

Ahem. When you do all this stuff that's based on race/sex/ideology instead of on personal talent and merit, it does not improve the industry, but rather, damages it. All that aside, this is another sad example of how uninformed and irrelevant Carter's made herself, and recalling the last time I saw her WW series was over a decade ago, I think I've had enough of that to fill a lifetime, since it was only about 60 episodes anyway. Another very sad example of a leftist Hollywooder who's only sullying whatever impact the comics adaptation she starred in ever had, and in hindsight, it wasn't much. This just compounds why I feel more comfortable reading the comics of the times instead.
