Belgian festival publishes their first comic based on their themes

Access All Areas wrote about the Tomorrowland festival, an entertainment convention that's now launching a special comic based on some of the themes they emphasize at the convention itself:

International festival empire Tomorrowland has taken its first step into comic book publishing.

Since the first festival was staged at the De Schorre park in Boom, Belgium, in 2005, Tomorrowland has become firmly established as one of the world’s biggest festival brands, with multiple international events, a huge online community, and revenue streams stretching far beyond ticket sales to travel packages and an unusual merchandise line that encompasses a Tomorrowland novel series and even furniture.

The Tomorrowland team, led by brothers Manu and Michiel Beers, has now stretched the festival’s creative concept further, with the publication of its The Odes of Orbyz comic book.

Described as an illustrated journey into the origin story of Tomorrowland’s 2025 festival theme, the comic features 60 pages illustrated with recognisable elements and imagery from the 2025 event’s main stage.

How about that, a comic about a convention. There are mangas like that too, and maybe if USA creators wanted to, they could find the time to develop something like these stateside. That would definitely be a lot better than some of the dark-laden thrillers that've become far too sad a staple in modern times.
