A UK writer who lives in a vacuum

David Hine, the British author of comics like Bulletproof Coffin, said in a conversation about gun control:

@britney_spheres Particularly here in the UK. One of the few countries where cops don't normally carry guns. And guess what, I feel safer.

He clearly is an un-realist who doesn't pay any attention to the news about what a crime-ridden disaster his country is like. His comment actually suggests he considers the police as bad - possibly worse - than any of the criminals running amok. And about the police who've been all but disarmed by political correctness: what if they feel even less safe than he does? Especially if they happen to be treading through gangland territory?

People like Hine obviously can't be bothered to get a clue.
