FCBD includes a woke product

NPR's Saint Louis division gave a sugarcoated report about a most unsurprising addition to this year's FCBD event, that being a LGBT-pandering product:
Betty Bayer opened Betty’s Books to sell illustrated literature like comic books, graphic novels and children’s books for all ages. For the last three years, she’s curated and produced a zine to celebrate comic books and the community that she’s fostered at her store. Along with stocking titles for graphic novel fans, Betty’s Books makes space for people who are typically not embraced by the mainstream comic book industry: people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, women and children.

[...] “[The myth] is just assuming comics are for younger readers only. So it's proving that comics are a valid and beautiful art form. And then on top of that, just trying to make people curious enough to try it,” McAlister said. “There are different genres of comics. There's nonfiction, there's fiction, there's poetry, there's so many beautiful diversities in comics.”
But these items seem to be geared towards younger readers who worship the LGBT cult, or were indoctrinated into the same, and the continued focus on the specific theme is laughable because it brings nothing original to the table. No Estonian culture, nothing creative that can make people think about the wider world around us. So of course, to emphasize "diversities" does little more than raise suspicions and concerns this is all another attempt to market products that aren't suitable for children, with the worst part being the participation in FCBD, enabling them to give away tons of propaganda to many potentially unwitting visitors.

Parents who care should be worried, and not buy at such a store.

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
