Another look at Marvel's sales

I always find analyses like this one on The Beat blog interesting to read, but depending on just badly written or how badly a book has been rendered by Marvel's PC-madness, that's why it's troubling if sales on them are actually doing well. Because it shows that zombie mentality still holds true for them. And in the case of the new Thor volume, for example, it's horrific that a writer as pretentious as J. Michael Straczynski still manages to rake in tons for something he's done. By now, writers like him should be shunned, as he's only proven himself one of the most contemptuous around.
Then, there's the case of the latest crossover they've done, World War Hulk, where the binding miniseries sold more than 100,000 copies. It won't make sales from me though, as I've long opted already not to buy the hub of a crossover wheel, if anything. But that it is making sales by ways of other people is still troubling.
Unless Marvel zombies wake up and realize that they're part of the problems, from destruction of continuity to political biases being forced into Marvel series to character assassinations, Capt. America's own degradation included, the problems will not be solved. When are they ever going to learn?
