This tasteless page from Dark Avengers #15 shows the wife of Sentry being choked by Bulleye (in Hawkeye's costume, if I notice correctly). One of the worst acts of violence to a woman ever seen in Marvel comics, and shows how Bendis has quite a bit in common with Geoff Johns as a would-be writer who goes overboard in his own way with sensationalized mayhem, and Mike Deadoto is just as bad with this as an artist.
This is definitely not what I read the Earth's Mightiest Heroes for when I was younger. Ugh.

You do notice correctly. When the real Avengers went underground, Osborne used the Stark copyrights (used to make sure Avengers likenesses were being used right or something) to create "his" Avengers. Bullseye became the "new" Hawkeye.

Norman Osborn's exploitation of the codenames of the real Avengers reminds me of the story where Lex Luthor led to the creation of another Infinity Inc, which began in the 52 maxiseries and an abortive series 3 years ago. The similarities may be vague, but I think they're there.
