Joe Harris (and Stuart Moore) was against war in Iraq
Harris, who's both a comics and film writer, had a conversation with Moore about a left wing documentary by Rachel Maddow, and said:
So he's repeated the leftist denial that Iraq ever had WMDs, ignores that they had chemical development going on behind the scenes, does not care about the people who were tortured and murdered under Saddam's reign of terror, and I guess he has no concern about Ahmedinejad doing the same in Iran either. It's mystifying then why he'd ever want to work on superhero comics.
@stuartmoore1 I can't wait to see this. I also can't believe I still encounter Bush Administration defenders on Iraq. They're out there.

Maddow's "Hubris" reinforces what should never be forgotten: your government lied to you & went to war in Iraq because enough believed them.

Always ask people like Harris why Bush would knowingly lie about WMDs (as opposed to merely being wrong about them) so that it would forever ruin the man's reputation and legacy. In fact, ask them if Bush knowingly lied, then why didn't he just have the CIA plant the f***ing weapons so as to be "proven right?"
In addition, ask them why an untold # of Democratic pols said precisely what Bush did about WMDs prior to January 2001.

Isn't Moore that same guy who put some kind of anti-war propaganda into the pages of Firestorm a few years ago?

I think so. There was a story in Firestorm with a leftist bias back in 2006.

Now it sounds like Joe Harris is writing a comics continuation of "The X-Files:"

I loved the show, but it got the alien colonization arc went on forever and got pretty damn confusing after a while. Plus the two movies failed to resolve the story, too.
And being a moonbat conspiracy theorist like Harris is (no sane person thinks Rachel Maddow has anything of substance to stay) must be a prequisite for writing such comics.
