Mark Waid lets his politics get the better of his etiquette again

Waid recently had a conversation on Obama's healthcare policies. But where he really flew off the handle was with his reply to a Congressman named John Culberson:

Again, he's abandoned constructive disagreement for the sake of crudeness. Dissent is one thing. Offensive cursing is another. I wish I could say he should just concentrate on his scriptwriting for comics, except that he's already long injected it with his bad brand of leftist politics.

Waid has really gone off his rocker.

Stay classy, Mark.

We should have a betting pool on which hack comic lib writer will go insane over this shutdown next. Should be fun.

Indeed, Moth! As for other hack lib writers, just scroll up to Avi's top post for today. They're all "outraged" by the shutdown. Hube wrote a similar post yesterday:

I used to not bother with boycotts. These days, though, some people are so obnoxiously hostile that they're essentially telling me, "I don't want your money." Okay, fair enough.

If Mark Waid is so unhinged he wishes physical harm on those he disagrees with, he can find someone else to help support his idiocy.

BTW, someone ask him about his thoughts on Harry Reid's "Why would we want to do that?" when asked about funding treatments for children with cancer.

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
