What makes successful comic movies, and would make comics too under the right circumstances
Business Insider wrote about what makes a great movie franchise based on comics, like character drama. Arguments that would make perfect points for the comics themselves, which makes me wonder why they're worried about the movies but not the comics? Now that I think of it, it's really a shame when publications like these can concern themselves with major movies but not have any concern about what inspired the particular movies they speak of in the first place.

More evidence that the comics medium is dying. DC and Marvel only exist so their parent companies can maintain trademarks and copyright on the characters, for use in other media.
