The history of the Charlton brand

The Charlotte Observer wrote about the history of the late Charlton Comics, most of which is owned by DC today (after all, they merged a few characters and concepts into the DCU in the late 80s, like the Question and Blue Beetle). Some fans and veterans of the older tales they published are soon releasing a book called "Charlton Arrow" dedicated to those old adventures.

Labels: ,

The guy behind Charlton Arrow is one of the current Archie writers. We can guess what the content and quality of that book will be...

I'm just glad Alan Moore didn't get to trash the Charlton heroes. Make up your own non-heroes if you want to run them through the mud.

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
