Oni Press stops using Uline services because of their support for traditional marriage

The small press publisher had to drag themselves into the whole mess being caused by LGBT advocates over a company manager's right to support what movements he/she will, by announcing they won't use Uline's services anymore just because its CEO supports conservative causes.

This probably shouldn't be too surprising since Oregon, where Oni Press works out of, is an ultra-leftist bastion. Personally, I've never read or bought any books from Oni's company, and they're not going to encourage me to buy their products by politicizing their MO. If they don't want to use Uline's services, I suppose that's their right, but that doesn't mean I have to bother about buying the products of a company that's taking their idea of what society should be like to such extremes.

If I boycotted products and services based on positions held by the CEOs or such, I'd never eat again. This is just silly.

I would vow to never read Oni comics, except that would be like vowing to never again eat god or cat. I recall they were supposed to be a hot indie company back in the 1990s, but I can't think of a single title they've put out.

Er, dog or cat. Though I suppose I've never eaten god either. Thanks, auto-correct.

Bet God tastes like chicken. Heh.

Seriously, the only reason anyone cared about Oni Press was when Kevin Smith wrote for them in the late 90's. He's since moved on, so good for Oni for not closing up? Though, would anyone care, and after this, I really care even less, which isn't possible.
