I've got a sad feeling he just sees what he wants to. So basically, he's calling the NRA profiteers, not advocates of self-defense. But what does he call Russian and Chinese weapon manufacturers who sell arms to Iran and Syria? Those aren't acts of profiteering? And why can't he argue in favor of better education in the school systems, which could help lower crime rates? Again, all these leftist comics writers seem to worry about is the easiest of subjects.

The claim that the NRA is a shill for the gun industry has been disproved time and again. The bulk of its revenue is from membership dues (from 4 million members) and from voluntary donations from members and non-members. It is a grass roots organization.
By contrast, the anti-gun groups are astro turf organizations bankrolled by fat cats like Michael Bloomberg and George Soros.
But remember what the left does never counts because it stacks the deck in their favor. They can lie and twist the truth every day and it does not matter because they are tolerant...yah right.
