It's been a while since I'd seen Slott posting anything noticeably political, but here, we see, he's remained pretty reliably leftist with the following:
Putting words in the Florida governor's mouth, I assume? Hey, I don't find Jeb Bush a very appealing politician either, but that's pretty low, and obscures any problems you could find in Democrats. Tsk tsk.
Yep, he's keeping up the classic separation between the Koran and Islamists, and is completely disinterested in offering us any quotes from within. And then proceeds with moral equivalence:
Keep going, Slott. But here's something to ponder: if you really, truly believe the Koran's got any worth, why don't you just pull any quotes out of the Koran yourself and say why you think this or that verse is justified? Yes, seriously. And by the way, Slott, is there any such thing as good and bad religions? Why must all be set on equal footing? People should be allowed to make up their minds, shouldn't they? If not, then you're saying you don't have the right to decide either, Slott! Food for thought. For example, how about Sura 47:3-4, which says: "Those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord... So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives)... If it had been Allah's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost." That is practically a command/decree, and a very repellent one at that. Is that something you think should be upheld, Slott?
It's also worth considering that the Torah/Bible is descriptive, unlike the the Koran, which PRE-scriptive. That's a significant difference Slott uninterested in pondering. Say, how come he doesn't seem to have voiced any concern over how an atheist attacked Christians, by the way? Speaking of which, Pamela Geller just discovered that the Oregon shooter had contact with a jihadist online. But I guess that doesn't disturb Slott either, does it?
Then, he says:
Wow, Slott's a "birther"? I never knew! Seriously though, it's not like most people think Obama's literally a Muslim so much as they do think he's firmly on the side of the religion. According to Red State, whatever Obama's faith today shouldn't be thought the main problem. But since Slott brought it up, one can only wonder what he thinks of Obama's former pastor Jeremiah Wright, the very man who preached blame-America conspiracy theories? That doesn't seem to worry him much either.
Talking about tragedies after the Oregon shootings "Stuff happens" "It wasn't a mistake." "Things happen. Things. Is that better?" -Jeb Bush— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) October 3, 2015

Wow. Just... wow. 23% of the world's Muslim. Do you understand the difference between Muslims and Muslim extremists? https://t.co/kwyGgb3u5K— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) October 3, 2015

Christians follow the Bible. B4 you pull something out of the Koran to make 23% of the world sound like savages... https://t.co/mTCToofOkC— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) October 3, 2015
.@AOverit ...ask yourself if the same can't be said for passages of the Bible. That's fair, right?— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) October 3, 2015

Labels: islam and jihad, moonbat writers, terrorism, violence
Of course, like any MSNBC sound-bite-ingesting nimrod, he took Jeb Bush's quote completely out of context.
I wonder -- has Slott *ever* offered up a practical solution to America's gun "problem?"

Bush called the tragedy in Oregon "heartbreaking," then he went on to speak about more general issues. The examples he used were traffic accident and children drowning in swimming pools, and he warned about passing wide-ranging laws based on specific cases. When he said "stuff happens," he was talking about those hypothetical cases, not the campus shooting. But Slott and the MSM want you to think that a reporter asked Bush about the shooting, and that Bush just shrugged and said, "Stuff happens."

Extremist never use facts they only use twisted words and fiction. Slott is a clear case of crazy.
