Charles Soule acts as apologist for the DACA policy

The comics writer/novelist who worked on Daredevil and X-Men detested Town Hall editor Katie Pavlich's point that the Obama administration's DACA policy is a bad, misleading one, and said:

Wow, if he's a lawyer, that would surely make him one of the worst kind of apologists for disastrous governing. He fails to recognize that DACA risks costing jobs, and a lot of the recipients were charged with criminal offenses too. But it's honestly not surprising if a lawyer does try to ignore facts, overlooked or otherwise.

Oh, and guess what, Soule? A lot of African-Americans are against DACA too, partly because it could cost them jobs, so don't try to act like no one's worried about the bad impact illegal immigration could have on America, both in terms of public safety and in economy.

I can only wonder how much of his own politics Soule foisted onto Daredevil, not unlike how Mark Waid did. It's not hard to figure Soule's just as unfit to write Hornhead's solo books as Waid's already proven.

You've gone out of your way to push your agenda here. Soule is responding to Pavlich's statement about who is covered under DACA and clarifying the FACTS. Nowhere in his single tweet (there were no follow-ups) does he give his opinion on DACA. He is simply giving information on a subject he is an expert on as a practicing attorney.

Actually, this might be far worse, as this is making the rounds tonight:

Not that I'm surprised by this SJW fanfiction, given what DC has done to Supes in recent years. However, I was surprised to see it written by Dan Jurgens. Not happy, as someone who likes Jurgens' work. This is one way to keep his bosses happy, I suppose.

Soule's tweet may be technically correct, but it gives an inaccurate impression.

Only immigrants who were 31 or older in July 2012 are ineligible for DACA. That goes for renewals as well as new applicants. So the EO did not "only" protect a few children, as Soule implies. It prevents the deportation of a lot of adult illegal aliens who will never age out.

California plans to sue the US government over this issue. The limousine liberals and country club conservatives in Bel Air and Beverly Hills don't want reasonable immigration reform. They want a steady supply of cheap labor.

According to the linked article about crime, only about one-quarter of one per cent of the DACA people got into trouble with the law. Don't know what the number is for the general population to compare it with, but it does not seem high.

Why should you think it would make a difference to Soule what African-Americans poll about the issue? Especially since a a majority of African-Americans, like a majority of the general population, are against expelling the group.

As Donald Trump explained today, "Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!.... They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own - brought in by parents at young age."
