The Simpsons attacks Trump in their most blatant animated promo yet

This is just one more reason I've become so disenchanted with the Simpsons cartoon, and largely avoided it for over a dozen years now. Matt Groening and his animation staff have taken the side of 4-5 awful Democrats in a musical video, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley and even Joe Biden:
“So many problems, tariffs — I need a distraction,” Trump sings at the beginning of the 90-second clip titled “West [Wing] Story.”

“They shouldn’t be in America,” the cartoon President Trump sings while holding up a photo of the Democrat women. “No one but me in America. No taxes for me in America. This is my natural hair-ica.”

“We’re more American than your wife,” Omar says.

“She’s not a big presence in my life” the cartoon Trump responds while running away from the four women.

“Your love life makes us heave,” Ocasio-Cortez says.

“You two will never see Tel Aviv,” Trump replies, a nod to Israel officially barring Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) from entering the country.

“You’re Boris Johnson without the class. Can’t wait to see you behind prison glass. Your nose is right up Putin’s ass. We say it’s time to impeach you fast,” the women all sing.

The clip ends with the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates shoulder-to-shoulder performing a Rockettes-esque high-kick routine that Trump joins in on. “Ha ha. Who’s the old man now,” Joe Biden digs at Trump, who’s out of breath and face down on the ground.
I must sadly conclude this hints where Groening and company stand on Israel too? Well, even in its first decade, they did have at least a few filthy jokes in episodes I'd rather not revisit again. And how offensive can they get towards Melania Trump? Not to mention it's insulting to the foreigners they supposedly wanted to join the populace in the USA. For these leftists, if an immigrant is a Republican supporter, he/she is taboo. To imply Melania's inferior as an immigrant to someone of Omar's standing is reprehensible in the extreme.

And no sooner did this news come about, so too did the additionally disturbing news that series creator Matt Groening used to be best pals with the now deceased child rapist Jeffrey Epstein, and once rode with him in a private plane:
One of Jeffrey Epstein’s public accusers claims she had to give a foot massage to The Simpsons creator Matt Groening while on the rich criminal’s private jet, though she was repulsed by the cartoonist’s “crusty toes,” according to newly-released court documents.

Hours prior to Epstein’s August 10th death, more than 2,000 pages of documents were released, related to a since-settled lawsuit against Epstein’s ex-girlfriend by Virginia Giuffre, one of his accusers. The records contain graphic allegations against Epstein, as well as the transcript of a 2016 deposition of the millionaire in which he repeatedly refused to answer questions to avoid incriminating himself. According to the documents, Giuffre alleges she met Groening aboard Epstein’s private plane, dubbed elsewhere as the “Lolita Express,” and that he asked her to give the cartoonist a foot massage during their flight from Carmel, California, to Los Angeles. Giuffre, 35, claims the incident occurred roughly 20 years ago, when she was 16.

“I was enjoying our conversation, when Jeffrey insisted that I give Matt a foot massage throughout the duration of the short flight,” Giuffre alleges in the documents. “I never turned down a client but when I saw the shape of his feet, I nearly threw up at the thought of having to touch them.”

“He had yellow crusty toenails that even someone with a chainsaw would’ve had troubles cutting through and then there was the fluffy balls of leftover pieces of sock wedged between the crevices of his sweaty toes, now that was the real icing on the cake for me, no way could I attempt this I thought,” she added. “Then I had an idea. I went to the back of the plane and rinsed a wash cloth in warm soapy water and returned for his dreaded foot massage but not before attempting to clean them first.”

Groening has not publicly addressed Giuffre’s allegations. The producer’s Simpsons series is the longest-running sitcom in history; the 31st season will premiere this September on Fox. Groening has gone on to create two other animated shows with similar art styles: the sci-fi Futurama ran on Fox and Cartoon Network and, just last year, his fantasy-themed Disenchantment debuted on Netflix.
While there's no evidence so far Groening ever took part in the same kind of ghastly parties Epstein arranged or knew what lay beneath the mask, Groening's associations with the repellent monster do not help his reputation in light of this new politically motivated cartoon video. And it makes me ever more discouraged from bothering about watching the Simpsons again, and feel glad I hadn't watched much of Futurama. As for Disenchantment, the title says it all. Still, this news about Groening's toes does suggest he got the idea to make the cartoon cast so emphatically yellow from looking down at his feet, ditto the name for Krusty the Clown. A terrible shame he has to be so obsessed with his political positions.

Can you back up your claim that Groening and Epstein were "best pals"?
Can you back up your assertation that there were "associations" (plural)?
There MAY have been ONE ENCOUNTER with one rich guy hitching a ride from another rich guy one time. All else is you making unsupported accusations against someone you take to be anti-Trump.

The sad fact is that Epstein hung out with everyone who was anyone, and with all the rich geezers, including Donald Trump. Republicans and democrats alike.

The musical number isn't hostile to Melania or immigrants. It is pointing out a double standard, that Trump says black and brown people who grew up here, or in some cases were born here to families that have lived here for generations, are less American than a white immigrant who came here as an adult.

How quick the trolls defend a child abuser...and a 16 y.o. sex slave giving you a foot massage IS child abuse..

Have no plans on defending anybody, let alone child abusers (in fact, if anything, Epstein deserved what he got, and Groening definitely deserves some negative feedback for his association with Epstein. The only negative regarding Epstein is that he died before we could divulge intel on all his associates.).

However, I want to make clear that 16 year olds are NOT children. Children are people 12 years old or younger. That doesn't make what they did on the Lolita Express any less sick, however.

"The musical number isn't hostile to Melania or immigrants. Melania Trump at least was shown to support America. And just as an FYI, Ben Carson, who last I checked is Black, is part of Trump's cabinet, as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, I believe, so he most certainly isn't doing a double standard with anyone. And quite frankly, people who condemned America's existence is NOT American in any way other than maybe citizenship.

'people who condemned America's existence?' Trump attacked four congresswomen as being in America on sufferance. Which of them condemned America's existence and how? For that matter, when did Melania show that she supported America? She is not the most vocal of first ladies.

And since when does having one token in office mean there is no double standard? Double standards are about treating different groups of people differently for the wrong reasons; it is not about 100% exclusion.

No, he attacked four congresswomen for condemning America as a nation, as well as having the audacity to imply that illegal immigrants are closer to citizens than those actual naturalized citizenry. Don't believe me, here's a whole list of stuff they said: https://menrec.com/twenty-two-times-the-squad-has-proven-theyre-anti-american/

And I'll supply a full list for you, for each of the members:
Ilian Omar:
•Dismissed 9/11 as “some people did something” and refused to answer if she was “pro-al Qaeda.”
•Tweeted that US support for Israel was “all about the Benjamins” and when she was asked what she meant, she responded “AIPAC!”
•Described acts of terrorism as a reaction to United States’ “involvement in other people’s affairs.”
•Said “ignorance really is pervasive in many parts of this country”
•Blamed America for the crisis in Venezuela.
•Attacked American soldiers for the Black Hawk Down mission.

Rashida Talib:
•Defended Omar’s 9/11 comments saying “She does speak truth.”
•Has a long history of associating with terrorists.

AOC:
•Said the current state of America is “garbage.”
•Claimed that the United States is running “concentration camps” on the Southern US border.
•Said illegal immigrants are “more American than any person who seeks to keep them out ever will be.”
•Refused to condemn socialist Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, but eagerly attacked U.S. Special Representative for Venezuela Elliott Abrams.
•Defended Omar’s disgusting 9/11 comments and said we shouldn’t be allowed to show pictures of the terrorist attack because it is “triggering.”

Ayanna Pressley:
•Accused minority Border Patrol agents as a “cog” in a machine of oppression.
•Called for the defunding of ICE, claiming the agency is “irrevocably broken.”
•And to top it all off, when asked to condemn the Antifa terrorist attack at an ICE facility in Washington State this past weekend, Pressley attacked the media, AOC was silent, and Omar was silent.

They could have been as white as John McCain or Donald Trump, and I STILL would have condemned them for all of that. Ethnicity means absolutely nothing to me.

As far as Melania, at least she didn't pretty much back the terrorists when discussing 9/11 or advocate firebombing the ICE camps.

"And since when does having one token in office mean there is no double standard? Double standards are about treating different groups of people differently for the wrong reasons; it is not about 100% exclusion."

Ah, yeah, actually, it DOES mean that, since that's kind of the point. Besides, have you forgotten that blacks and Hispanics have the lowest unemployment rate under Trump, something Obama ought to envy and DOES envy right now (heck, has the lowest unemployment rate since I think the 1950s)? I don't think that points to a double standard. If anything, the Congressional Black Caucus and whoever the Latino advocacy group is in Congress refusing to support Trump in SPITE of doing exactly what they wished to do to help their groups is closer to an actual double standard.

None of the things attributed to the congresswomen up above amount to condemning america's existence, which was the accusation you (eotness) leveled against them. Some are distorted quotes taken out of context to mean the opposite of what was said. Others are disagreements over policy, not opposition to America. It is in the nature of America to encourage and value dissent; the US is not a dictatorship.

You can condemn them all you want; that is your privilege. But they are stil every bit as American as you are.

If a minority person has to be three times as good to get the job, or if majority people get away with things that cause minority people to be pilloried, that is a double standard. Some people get ahead and do well despite this, some people are three times as good, but the double standard is still there.

Yeah, actually, they did. Saying "current state of America is garbage" is by definition a condemnation on its existence. Besides, I can supply you with links to each one of their statements at the original sources included in the earlier link:

And while it's true that America is not a dictatorship, that doesn't mean it should roll over in terms of free speech like King Louis XVI did and capitulate to mobs and demagogues who want us dead. And maybe I should remind you that George Washington actually exiled Citizen Genet for trying to establish French Revolution-style groups in America, and that wasn't a violation of freedom of speech. We're not France.

"You can condemn them all you want; that is your privilege. But they are stil every bit as American as you are."

No, the second they condemn America's existence and actually root for the murder of people working at ICE and Republicans, heck, against fellow Americans, they've stopped being American as far as I'm concerned.

"If a minority person has to be three times as good to get the job, or if majority people get away with things that cause minority people to be pilloried, that is a double standard. Some people get ahead and do well despite this, some people are three times as good, but the double standard is still there."

That's your first mistake, thinking we ought to have equality of results. And quite frankly, by your logic, you should condemn the leftist mobs who literally silence Conservative speakers from College Campuses, yet you're not doing that. You're the one engaging in a double standard.

To take an obvious example, Ocasio-Cortez never called America garbage. She said that America was " powerful and just and good and equitable and productive" and for that reason we shouldn't settle for political policies and programs that were '10 percent better from garbage'. She was crticising politicians, Republicans and Democrats alike, not America.

Concentration camps are places where large numbers of people, especially political prisoners or members of persecuted minorities, are deliberately imprisoned in a relatively small area with inadequate facilities, usually without a hearing. How are the internment facilities on the border not concentration camps? They are not Nazi concentration camps, they are not extermination camps or forced labor camps, but the term concentration camp existed long before the Germans set up theirs.

Meanwhile, we have a president who campaigned on a slogan that America was no longer great, and has called Baltimore an infected mess. That sounds more like 'current state of America is garbage' than anything Ocasio-Cortez ever said; those words never came out of her mouth.

Black people tend to be last hired and first fired. These days Trump is already warning people that economic downturn is in the offing and trying to figure out who else to blame for it.

Genet was a citizen of France, not America. He was returned to France for his actions, not his words. And the problem with the revolutionary mob in France was not that they were exercising their right to free speech, nor was the monarchy a cause worth fighting for.

Is it so beyond the pale to believe that people who come here to pursue the American Dream are more American in their soul than the people who imprison them and take their children permanently away from them? Or than the people who put other Americans in jail for leaving water out for those migrants in the desert who might otherwise die of thirst?

Eotness said

None of the people on your hate list rooted for anyone's murder; the most you said above was that they did not rush to virtue signal by condemning an attack on an ICE facility. And you are stretching the meaning of 'condemning America's existence' to the breaking point. Criticizing America, saying it is going down a wrong path, is not condemning its existence. If that was the case, every politician running for election against an incumbent running for reelection would be condemning America's existence. They all say something is wrong and needs to be changed. Otherwise, why run for office? It is as if you are saying that a teacher is condemning the existence of any student who gets an F on an exam.

I think the whole lot of you are missing the deeper point in all of this in favor of shallow impressions like Avi Green has done in the past.

Genet was a resident of France, not America. He was come back to France for his activities, not his words. Also, the issue with the progressive horde in France was not excessively they were practicing their entitlement to free discourse, nor was the government a reason worth battling for.Refrigerated truck rental
