Dark Horse educates about wildfire safety
Dark Horse Comics has just released the book, titled “Without Warning! Wildfire.” It follows two friends, Meghan and Alexx, as they backpack leisurely through the wilderness. But disaster soon follows another couple’s carelessness with their campfire, leading to widescale destruction. Lessons shared include using fire responsibly, the importance of first aid, and checking weather conditions.I figure this is one of the better ideas they've produced of late, and fire safety in the wilds is serious business. Even so, it's a shame the publisher's selling themselves off and allowing Chinese investors to buy into their firm, which again, is not a good sign. Plus, they've got just as much political correctness dictating their decisions now as the mainstream. That doesn't do any good artistically.
Althea Rizzo of the Oregon Office of Emergency Management helped write the comic. She told KLCC the medium can engage audiences on a level that agency PSAs and official news releases can’t.
Labels: indie publishers, science
If the comic left off the technique of watching out for ANTIFA terrorists - who, in several instances were found to be lighting off wild fires on purpose - then the book is at best incomplete or worse - covering up the people lighting the fires to push the AGW hoax. Also, there needs to be a law preventing the Chinese from having any ownership of American media. They've shown their proclivity for use of their money for propaganda - especially with Disney and it's an evil influence in general.

Yes; Steve Bannon's War Room podcasts are financed by a Chinese millionaire, the one on whose boat Bannon was arrested.
Can you name any of the instances were anti-fascists were found to be purposefully lighting wild fires?
