Dark Knights of Steel puts alternate version of Wonder Woman and Supergirl in lesbian relationship

Polygon is absolutely gushing over this forced misuse of both WW and an alternate version of Supergirl (which looks like a cross between Power Girl), and the writer wants this to be canon in the DCU proper as well:
In her 2015 DC Bombshells series, set in an alternate universe, Marguerite Bennett established that Wonder Woman had gotten her first kiss from Princess of Mera of Atlantis. In his 2016 Wonder Woman series, Greg Rucka and his collaborators established Wonder Woman as a queer character who had been in love with one of her Amazon sisters before ever setting foot in Man’s World. In 2017, even Wonder Woman’s mass-audience big-budget film acknowledged that Amazons enjoy sex and relationships amongst themselves.

This week the alternate fantasy world series Dark Knights of Steel revealed that its version of Wonder Woman is dating Superman’s sister — that world’s Supergirl. Wonder Woman has had implied girlfriends, off-screen girlfriends, and girlfriends that couldn’t be called girlfriends because writers were living in more homophobic times.

I’m not mad! I’m actually more excited about the direction of the Wonder Woman line now than I have been in years. The fact that there is even a Wonder Woman line of books, instead of just a solo title, is practically a first for DC Comics. But all the same.

How much longer do I have to wait for Wonder Woman to smooch a girl on good old Earth 0? Phew.
Somebody sees fit to use this kind of cheap sensationalist news as an excuse to demand more of the same flood every corner of the DC universe proper, along with the Marvel universe, no doubt. Pure insult to the intellect. One can only wonder how soon they'll be corrupting the characterization of Lois Lane, and even her sister Lucy. As if that weren't ludicrous enough, it would seem DC, under Marie Javins' fast deteriorating editorialship, is even going out of their way to estabish Nubia as the first WW, in a step that's vaguely similar to the time when Marvel forced The Truth: Red, White & Black down everyone's throats. When they do that so blatantly, it's a way of saying they disapprove of the idea that a white woman would be the first introduced into such a role. By the way, isn't Supergirl the cousin of Superman? Now there's something where they wound up being sloppy.

Aside from the alarmingly forced continuation of turning every possible established character homosexual for the sake of it, one can only wonder how many more company wide crossovers they'll be doing? Because that too has long become a horribly sabotaging tool in storytelling and marketing for mainstream comics.

Yeah, no kidding, this isn't good at all, even less so when it's an official work doing this. Fanfiction is one thing, but doing yuri as an actual official product just desecrates the characters, to say little about the company.

BTW, while we're on the subject of LGBT propaganda pushing by DC, think you can do an article about the history of the sudden uptick in LGBT agenda pushing in various mediums, not just at DC and Marvel, but maybe even with various media (I know Willow suddenly being made into a lesbian in Season 4 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a particularly notorious instance of this. Same goes for Claire Bennet randomly being made either lesbian or bisexual in the final season of Heroes)? Something like that would be extremely valuable for knowing what is going on and especially on how to fight back against it, to take back what the left stole from us regarding comics. Something akin to that Gerard Jones article you wrote fully exposing his more dreadful writing style that you made a little while back: http://fourcolormedmon.blogspot.com/2020/04/some-disturbing-and-offensive-panels.html On that note, you could connect it with Dawson's Creek, since Greg Berlanti was definitely a very major player in needlessly altering characters sexualities due to trying to force them to be more like himself due to his monomaniac homosexuality, and I'd argue the character Jack McPhee and especially his kiss with Ethan (which had evidence of him literally bullying his fellow producers into letting him do it) helped pave the way towards him repeatedly pushing that diseased lifestyle in his various works, including multiple Arrowverse shows (Alex Danvers, Mr. Terrific, etc., etc.), not to mention him pushing it outright with stuff like Love Victor and all that crap (which is arguably worse in that one episode arguably glamorizes outright pedophilia. Even stealing "chicken" to be code for that). Maybe you could even link other articles relating to it, like the history of how Alan Scott was tastelessly made gay thanks to Brian Bendis's policies and the guy directly responsible for writing it trying to force his own sexual tastes onto him.

After all, we need something to fight back against the gay-ifying of various works, better to write a master essay exposing the crap so we have the tools necessary to combat it in this war to stop leftists from wrecking the various mediums. Not just comics, but video games, TV, movies, pretty much entertainment as a whole.

I was thinking of doing some research on Jones' run on Justice League in its last 20 or so issues from 1994-96, since he appears to be the writer who was responsible for laying the groundswork for turning Obsidian gay at the time. I hope to be able to write it soon, thanks for asking.
