David Dastmalchian is continuing his budding career as a comics author with a brand new horror title for upstart publisher Panick Entertainment. It's pretty apparent DC became flooded at some point with the kind of people who care far more about the horror genre than in something optimistic. That's the sad result all these years since Frank Miller penned Dark Knight Returns. Now, there's even a publisher dedicated to the horror genre, and probably more so than the sci-fi genre, though it won't be a shock if much of what they publish under that category will be some of the darkest seen over the decades since horror movies became so regrettably common.
The actor, who can currently be seen in The Life of Chuck as well as Dexter: Resurrection, is working on The Accessories, a five-issue mini-series that he co-created and is co-writing with longtime creative associate Leah Kirkpatrick. The comic and details will be unveiled at Dastmalchian’s Saturday panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Patrick Piazzalunga is illustrating the books which Panick will publish next year. Panick is the horror and science fiction venture that launched last year and was founded by a cadre of entertainment and comics industry veterans, including several from the world of DC.
Because if we're going to try and stop the misuse of our favorite comics and their protagonists by the companies that write and publish them, we've got to see what both the printed and online comics news is doing wrong. This blog focuses on both the good and the bad, the newspaper media and the online websites. Unabashedly. Unapologetically. Scanning the media for what's being done right and what's being done wrong.

Last year, a Hollywood actor, David Dastmalchian, announced he was making his own comics, but alas, can only seem to think of writing entries to the horror genre, and now, the Hollywood Reporter's once again gushing over something most unoriginal as it goes to press:
