Daniel Kibblesmith went overboard
Far-left writer Kibblesmith, who was assigned to do a new take on the New Warriors laced with social justice propaganda, recently went out of his way to normalize violence against police, as was discovered by Bounding Into Comics. It had what to do with a policeman who made an unwise political statement referencing Trump, instead of being apolitical, and Kibblesmith exploited the opportunity to attack Trump supporters as "racist":
That’s when Marvel Comics writer Daniel Kibblesmith would get involved insinuating the officer in question is a racist. But Kibblesmith's clearly unconcerned about Joe Biden's racism, which includes his acceptance of James Eastland, a racist Democrat senator. Kibblesmith is such a hypocrite, and it gets worse:
He wrote, “I can’t remember the last time I heard about anyone with any degree of power in law enforcement or politics just getting straight up fired.”
The Loki writer added, “It’s always like ‘Officer Racist has been placed on Partial-Salary Sadness Probation until he finishes watching American History X on DVD.'”
Kibblesmith followed that up demanding the officer be fired.Sick, sick, SICK. And yet another reason why not to buy his writings. Desensitization to and normalization of violence is but a leading reason why society is collapsing today. Marvel may have fired Chuck Wendig for his offensive online antics, but will they be willing to do the same with Kibblesmith after what he's said? For now, if his New [Social Justice] Warriors book is coming out, the best way for the readership to send a message is to boycott it.
He wrote, “Normalize firing people who have the power to destroy lives.”
Then in a response to fellow comic book writer Kurt Busiek he would threaten physical violence in order for the officer to be fired.
Busiek wrote, “It takes a while because of union rules. It’s not that often that they actially _can_just up and fire someone without a lengthy process. This needs fixing. I’m all for unions, but police unions seem to be about enforcing a lack of accountability.”
Kibblesmith replied, “Would it help if I came in with my hands wrapped in bandages, gently tapping a baseball bat against my opposite palm.”
