The Express-Times sensationalizes Marvel's villification of Iron Man
As if the MSM's dumbing-down of their coverage of Civil War couldn't get any worse, now I have to discover that the New Jersey Express-Times has glorified Marvel's villification of Shell-Head:
Best Villain: Iron ManAnd the worst part here is that they make it all sound good. Absolutely disgusting.
At the start of Marvel's ''Civil War,'' Iron Man vows to bring in Captain America and any other hero who joins his crusade -- no matter the cost.
To prove his determination, he uses a Thor clone to kill Goliath, builds a prison in the Negative Zone for any unregistered hero and uses a guilt trip to trick Spider-man into unmasking on national television to show support for the registration act -- only to attack him when he decides he's on the wrong side.
Marvel is going to have a hard time redeeming this one-time hero.
