What a shame Hollywood is adapting the works of Warren Ellis
It seems that not one, but two comics written by the dreadful Warren Ellis, have been optioned for movie adaptations lately. The first one is Ocean, and where the lead of the story is a UN inspector, a clue to that something could be wrong, and the second one is Red. It wouldn't surprise me if these are both as anti-war as Ellis' other anti-war comic book called Black Summer, and considering that anti-war movies of recent have been flopping at the box office, I think the studios adapting these comics are making a big mistake.
