Wonder Woman TV costume gets stars added, but darker shade of blue
It turns out that the producers decided to listen to the voices of those who didn't dig the costume design they're using for the new WW TV series in production. Now they've changed the pants part so that there's a row of stars on the sides. The color blue is darker though. And they say that:
Time will tell if these modest changes to Wonder Woman's threads have a positive effect on the show when it premieres on NBC this fall.More like time will tell if anyone likes the script for the pilot episode. Again, if they intend to use the script already found, there's no telling if this'll work out.

Here are some filming photos. And, as the OP noted, she can't move very well. Not good in the superhero game (or to be "realistic").

Is it just me, or does the top look, um, lower? Not as, um, rounded?
Stop snickering. Look at the picture and you'll see what I mean. Like they were trying to show more breast but wound up making her look sort of deformed...

I'm not going there. Heh. It's too easy.
Seriously, yeah, I noticed that, too, but I was more focused on the fact of "she can't fight in a free-flowing motion."
Admittedly, it is a vast improvement over the original one, as it was too vinyl for me. (That, and, okay, I wasn't thrilled with the removal of the American flag symbolism.)

When I was in my mid-teens, I often wondered why Wonder Woman originally wore a skirt when she was flying her invisible plane. I always used to think that anyone who happened to look up and see her or, for that matter, Supergirl in her skirt-wearing days, would be likely to catch quite an eyeful!
Va-va-va-voom!

Maybe that's why she opted for the star panties. Hey-ho! Heh.
(Seriously, though, I kinda liked the Golden Age's skirt version, as it was more dignified to me. Either way, yeah, I hear you. Silly invisible jet. Heh.)

At least they made her boot heels a little lower. Any woman who has ever worn high heels will tell you that it's impossible to move fast in them, whether you're an Amazon or not.

Some men, too!
Seriously though, I used to wonder how Black Canary was able to do all those fancy martial arts moves when she was wearing high heels. I just chalked it up to "Ginger Rogers Syndrome" - she used to do the same thing as Fred Astaire, but backwards and in heels.
