3rd Iron Man movie is going to feature "real world villains"

Big Hollywood is reporting that the third Iron Man movie is going to be written like a Tom Clancy thriller and feature "real world villains", rather than simply supercrooks going after Tony Stark and company. It raises a valid question: just what kind of real world criminals will be featured, whether or not they use sci-fi weaponry? Unfortunately, there's no telling if the 3rd movie will feature jihadists as adversaries, and what if any crooks featured this time turn out to be metaphors for conservatives? We have to hope that won't be the case, and that any upcoming movie will still respect for America and capitalism.

The idealist in me believes that the Mandarin could feature as a villain given that the jihadists in the first movie were called the Nine Rings, but the cynic in me wonders if they're not just gonna have more corporate villains instead.

If the Mandarin doesn't show up as a villain, guess we know why: he's actually financing the movie...
