Occupy Comics predictably makes police look bad

The Black Mask Studios puts out its first "project", the Occupy Comics, and as this picture signals, the police unsurprisingly are made to look like the baddies here, with the protestors made to look almost "peaceful" and the 3rd panel makes it look like 2 are slipping away from the menace of a creepy looking officer. Truly embarrassing, and we can't be the least bit surprised if there's no mention of the darker side of the movement in these books they're coming up with.

If this is how they're thinking of supporting comics creators by fundraising, they are not getting off to a good start.

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
