WB's faith-based marketing campaign helped Man of Steel find success

One of the reasons the new Man of Steel film is a success is because Warner Brothers marketed the movie to the Church-going crowd (Hat tip: Big Hollywood). That's pretty remarkable they were willing to appeal to them as much as the average moviegoer, and I think it's a lot more than we could expect from back at the DC Comics editorial, which hasn't exactly been very respectful of Judeo-Christian values these days, if at all. This is something I've noticed the major comics sites haven't considered newsworthy. What a shame. It only compounds the image that they're dinosaurs.

Update: here's one more article about this from the AP Wire.
