Just why does Marz think the private industry only cares about money?
@GailSimone The private sector is far more concerned with profits than health care. Less care = more profits.

Did it ever occur to him that the Obama administration's disinterest in doing anything to improve the ailing economy could be a leading factor in the private sector's inability to offer better health coverage? Many workers in private industry are already worried about losing their coverage because of Obamacare. As for government employees, well of course they'd have to be pleased with theirs: they're getting it at the expense of everybody else.
Simone would do well to ponder that along with Marz. And for heaven's sake, why would most private companies be solely concerned with profit when, if they failed to develop good products, they could lose customers? Nestlé and Campbell Soup would have lost a lot of customers if they didn't produce the best nutrition for their food products for many years.
And I gotta wonder if Marz and Simone realize that today's people in charge of Marvel and DC - whom they're both working/worked for - are solely concerned with making profit more than good storytelling.

They sure aren't concerned with good storytelling if they ever paid Marz...

Indeed, Drizzt. From what I can tell, Marz has never written anything of value.

If he hates money so much, then why doesn't he write his stories for free? Just saying.

Like most leftists, Marz is a hypocrite. Their rhetoric sounds socialist, but you don't see any of them moving into communes or co-ops, or working for free, or even using public transportation.
