PC Mag reviews Android's comic app
The free Comics makes the buying and reading experience a simple and inviting endeavor, even though the library is missing quite a few older books (and Dark Horse Comics' catalog). The newer products from the big two since the turn of the century certainly don't give much reason to try it out, so if the bulk of their library is newer books and too little older ones, I don't see how this is something to write home about. At the end, they say:
...if you prefer reading All-New X-Men without worrying about mylar bags and backing boards, Comics is the way to go.Now why should I want to waste money reading Brian Bendis' embarrassments? He's done nothing to suggest he's changed from the time he accelerated Marvel into disaster with Avengers: Disassembled, and his writing is not worth the software it's published on any more than the paper. That's not what I would want to read comics on Android for.
