Canada's postal service doesn't include Curt Swan's art in Superman stamp line

Bob Rozakis, one of DC's former writers and marketing managers, found that a line of stamps with Superman art issued by the Canadian postal service doesn't have Curt Swan's pictures among them, but does have Jim Lee's.
As I once said before, Lee is a talented artist, and again, that's a lot more than can be said for his talent in publishing, which, as he's demonstrated since ascending the position at DC, he has none. But his art just doesn't suit the Man of Steel, and I don't see what makes his design so worthy of being part of a postal stamp line.
Curt Swan, who was active during the mid-50s to early 90s, had styles and designs that were far better suited to Superman, and his art was much more impressive than the overly trendy style Lee uses. Besides the Man of Steel, Swan also drew a couple of other books and characters in his time, like the New Teen Titans. I have a few copies of Superman books Swan drew in the latter end of his career where his art is vaguely reminiscent of Neal Adams, with a quasi-realist style, and is pretty impressive there too. And yet, his art was left out of the stamp line? Bad move.
And we can't be surprised if it's because DC editorial mandated such a clumsy choice, leaving Swan out all for the sake of Lee, whose style, no matter how competent, just doesn't fit with Superman.

It would have been nice for them to include Curt Swan's version, as well, but Jim Lee's isn't the only artist whose Superman is on the stamps. I just bought 2 packets yesterday and the artists (besides Lee) whose work is used are : Joe Shuster (the Canuck), Wayne Boring, Neal Adams, and Kenneth Rocafort.
With so many artists having portrayed the Man of Steel during his 75 years, it's hard to narrow it down to just 5 without someone being disappointed.
Personally, I'd have loved to see an Alex Ross or George Perez version on one of the stamps.
Maybe for the 100th anniversary?
