Comic writers care more about leftist government than the damage it's doing with Obamacare

Following the government shutdown, here's a couple of tweets by comics writers (and at least one artist) who probably wouldn't give a damn if a Republican-led government went through the same:

I'd say Larsen's tweet is by far the worst because of his poor etiquette. Curious they don't focus on the real mistake the GOP might make: legalizing illegal immigrants (H/T: Big Government), including any who might be dangerous in society. What if they ended up exploiting Obamacare to the point of costing the country far more than it can afford? Do those comics writers want interlopers misusing their tax dollars?

These people really know how to alienate potential readers, don't they? Not that I'd read crap by Larsen, for instance, since Savage Dragon is junk, but you get the picture.

Conway I respect, or I respect his body of work, but the others? Uh, no, no, no. Didn't know McCormmick was one of those libs, but that's okay. I never cared for her work, though, I can never quite quantify why. Not unlike my issues with Gail Simone.

Oh, well, at least, Larsen was more honest? XD

I love this shutdown, as I can't wait to see which lib gets nuts, next.

I don't really respect Conway's body of work. His Hulk run was pretty execrable. As for Spider-Man... he killed Gwen Stacy. Batman? He created Jason Todd, who was an awful presence forced into the Robin role. Firestorm was better in others' hands than its creator. And so on.

Expecting class from Larsen is like expecting an untrained puppy not to poop in your floor.

Fair enough, Drizzt. His TV and his Wonder Woman work don't suck (IMO), but I'd concede everything else you said.

How bad was his Hulk run, dare I ask?

It doesn't surprise me that Kelly Sue DeConnick is a liberal.... she's married to Matt Fraction, after all, and we all know what his politics are.

Careful, Avi. That genius Ron Marz linked to this post. All his like-minded bubble buddies chimed in.

It's shocking to them that some people out there have a different political view.

I knew she was with Fraction, but I didn't know they were married. Eh, not like I much care for comic creators' personal lives (unless it spills into their work).

Marz knows we exist? Isn't that spechul. XD
