Scott Lobdell admits he sexually harrassed a female cartoonist

A cartoonist name MariNaomi recently relayed how she'd been a victim of sexual harrassment at a convention panel. Now, Scott Lobdell, the longtime hack writer for Marvel and now DC, has come forth and admitted he was the one who offended her. But it's unclear just how sorry he really is, since he tries to pass off the insulting attitude he took on as "humor":
I am also sorry because if I had realized my failed attempt at humor had offended MariNaomi or her husband in the moment that I made those statements, I would have certainly apologized in then and not have left her to feel victimized in the hours and days that followed.
Is he sorry? I don't see how that rates as a defense, and he should know better than to think of his cloddish behavior as funny. Still, this might explain some of the fanfictionish angles in some of his past work on titles like X-Men, and also his juvenile take on Starfire in Red Hood and the Outlaws, which he still hasn't admitted he blew. I suppose we could say his crummy storytelling antics eventually translated into something insulting in real life.

It remains to be seen if he'll truly learn a lesson now, and try to better his writing skills to overcome the juvenile fanfiction approach he took in the past 2 decades. And yet, I still wouldn't count on him becoming a better writer.

I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
