Yet another new costume design for DC's top threesome

The New 52 costume minus the red tights for Superman wasn't enough for DC's progressives. Come to think of it, neither was the electrified costume they thought up in 1997. Now, Superman, Wonder Woman and even Batman are getting still more different costume designs. And for Superman, it's a shirt and jeans wear not much different from what the 1990s Superboy would wear. What's so special about that?
None of this equals character focus, naturally. It's all just more style without substance.

Labels: Batman, dc comics, msm propaganda, Superman, Wonder Woman

What's next for Wonder Woman? A burqa?
Superman: I don't really see how this is a "new" costume per se. Grant Morrison used something very similar in Action Comics. I actually liked that look- very "people's champion". The Batman/Superman cover is horrendous, though, with supes' biceps making him look more like supergorilla.
Wonder Woman: I like the "general of the Amazons" look, but the costume looks far too "busy"- too much going on, there.
Batman: What I think of this one will largely depend on the story that accompanies it. Currently, I plain don't like it. Scott Snyder has written a killer Batman, though, so I'll give it a shot.
So now we swung the pendulum from "beauty contest winner" to "battling on Cadia" for Wonder Woman's costume? Whatever happened to compromises in the middle?
