Bloom County turns up on Facebook after 26 years

If you were around in the 80s, you probably read the old Bloom County comic strip that ran between 1979-89. Its cartoonist, Berkeley Breathed, who later replaced it with the Sunday-only Outland (and later Opus), produced a special revival online:

In any case, the popular cartoon character from "Bloom County" has made an unexpected comeback in a comic strip posted Monday on Facebook by creator Berkeley Breathed. In the strip, Opus awakens after what he discovers was a 25-year nap.
Separately, a posted photo of Breathed shows him at his computer with the caption "A return after 25 years. Feels like going home."
Left unsaid: Whether the revival is a one-off, or, instead, "Bloom County" is back for an indefinite stay.
The whimsical strip, which viewed politics and culture through the lens of a small town in Middle America, began in 1980, appearing in newspapers daily. But in 1989, Breathed called a halt until now — at least, for one day.

I quit cartooning for good two months later. Yes, these two little events were organically connected. I'll never get that happy little hour of happy TJ's shopping back.

So, how good was it again?
Breathed is very much a leftist, but, yes, one can appreciate his wanting to discuss things others won't, like the burqini. Good for him.
I'm sure others like Scott Adams, who is more edgy than most, might just drop the newspaper shtick and go full digital eventually. His original strips from his blog and books are quite breathtaking/risque, vs. what the public actually got.
And others have already done it, as look at Chris Muir's Day by Day, which is a nice conservative webcomic (as most webcomics are done by SJWs or hard leftists, as I know, I've looked).
And of course Marz is the first one to laud the disastrous Iran deal that could cause another Holocaust for the Jewish people. Nobody else has mentioned it so far, but the day is young and leftist comic writers are losing brain cells by the minute.
Unsurprisingly G. Willow WIlson has a bunch of pro-Iran tweets encouraging people to visit such a " gorgeous friendly, well-educated country." Ridiculous.
...why would she want people to go to the Middle East? Besides crumbling ruins of historic/religious importance, buried oil, hostile natives (both human and animal), and tons of sand, it seems like a boring place to visit.
