6 tweets by Busiek about Ben Carson
I don’t think the two are mutually exclusive. https://t.co/R3wKulYWlP— Kurt Busiek (@KurtBusiek) November 5, 2015
Any chance we'll ever hear him say that about a Democrat candidate like Hilary Clinton, who wouldn't be honest about her email scandal and the Benghazi barbarism? Even the UK Telegraph thinks she lied about that.
Then, he attacks Carson just for telling about a theory he's got:
So Ben Carson thinks archaeologists are wrong the Egyptian pyramids were built as burial monuments. He’s got his own theory, that they...— Kurt Busiek (@KurtBusiek) November 5, 2015
…were built to store grain. Never mind the dead people found inside in elaborate sarcophagi. Archaeologists get tricked by stuff like that.— Kurt Busiek (@KurtBusiek) November 5, 2015
Ben Carson’s got a theory, and that’s way more important than actual facts and history and stuff.— Kurt Busiek (@KurtBusiek) November 5, 2015
.@Kired25 I think he imagines they’re all hollow inside, and imagination is all the research he needs to do, beyond reading the Bible.— Kurt Busiek (@KurtBusiek) November 5, 2015
For heaven's sake, if it's just a theory, then what's the big deal? Since we're on the subject, let's ponder: some pyramids could've been used as mausoleums, but others could've been used as food and grain storages. Hey, why not? This page says that:
The pyramids were perfect for holding items that would help the pharaoh in his afterlife. Though the pyramids had been looted and cleaned before Egyptologists could examine them, there is significant evidence that they held boats, wooden statues, stone carvings, clothing, food, and luxury items that the pharaoh would have needed. These items were most likely the pharaoh’s valued possessions and were regarded as royal. If so, then it's possible the ancient Egyptians used them for storing food, if not necessarily grain.
Since we're on the subject of ancient Egyptians, how come Busiek and his ilk don't seem particularly concerned about the plight of their modern day descendants, the Copts?
Oh, Ben Carson. When caught in a lie, don't yell at the press. It only encourages them to find more. And you seem to have lots to find.— Kurt Busiek (@KurtBusiek) November 7, 2015
And what should Hilary do when caught in a lie? Laugh? Oh wait, Busiek's simply not interested. All that matters is what a conservative-leaning politician does. Not the errors committed by Democrats, except maybe if he thinks a particular individual stepped off the plantation for a specific reason he detests.
I don't think Carson's a saint. But then, Busiek should at least be willing to admit the same about various Democrats who've made dreadful mistakes.

Obama lied about his grandfather taking part in the liberation of Auschwitz, he lied about his father serving in WWII, he lied about his father abandoning his mother, he lied about his mother being denied medical care. His college records are sealed, and the media have made no effort to uncover them.
Hillary Clinton lied about Benghazi, and about her e-mails.
But the media are more interested in every minor gaffe by Ben Carson.
The official media attitude toward Carson is, "How dare you think differently from the way we want African-Americans to think! Get back in line!"

Anon put it as well as any clear-thinking person could. More and more, it seems these writers are more activists and less genuine storytellers.

"His college records are sealed, and the media have made no effort to uncover them."
Seeing how Ben Carson himself recently resurrected this canard, I'll point out that President Obama's college records aren't "sealed"; that suggests college records are public documents. They aren't.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits schools, colleges and universities from revealing students' records to the public. The same law protects everyone, not just presidential candidates (or presidents).

"For heaven's sake, if it's just a theory, then what's the big deal?"
Also ... Because Carson's "theory" demonstrates a willingness to disregard science, research and historical evidence (the ancient Egyptians recorded exactly why they built the pyramids!) in favor of a half-baked hunch based on what?
"If so, then it's possible the ancient Egyptians used them for storing food, if not necessarily grain."
Oh, come on. The passage you quoted also says the tombs likely held boats, but that doesn't mean the pyramids were boathouses.

So, was Busiek this diligent when Obama was telling repeated falsehoods that the Media (read: Democrats with Bylines) gave a pass to? Has he been this dogged with Hillary and HER lifetime of lies?
No, you say? Curious, almost as if Busiek doesn't really care about falsehoods so much as he does care about WHO is telling them.
While it's great that Anonymous 2 wants to hack and shill for Obama, it doesn't explain his lies about Selma, a relative helping liberate Auschwitz, his mother being denied health insurance, shovel-ready jobs, "if you like your doctor," etc. etc. etc.
Give Barack Obama ONE DAY of the negative, aggressive, and adversarial press coverage GW Bush got every day, and he would be rocking back and forth in the corner in the fetal position, sucking his thumb.

College records are not normally available for public view, but, if Obama really were the super-genius that his fans claim, don't you think he would have voluntarily released his school transcripts, showing that he was a straight-A student? And wouldn't his toadies in the MSM be reporting it?
Acethepug is right. Obama (and Clinton) could not stand one day of the scrutiny and adversarial coverage that Bush, Palin, and Carson have had to endure.

Good point, let's not forget that he first went to Occidental College that has a 42.4% acceptance rate, which means they talk almost anyone that applies as long as they have a pulse.
The liberal hate mob like Marz,Busiek,Spencer, and others are showing that they will say and tweet anything in order to make a Republican sound bad while ignoring anything that is out of place on their side. Really, just look at Marz's twitter feed during the debate, does he have one tweet on issues, not it is all stupid statements.

On the other hand, Obama did get the divorce records of his two political opponents during his Chicago days leaked out to the media (as Jack Ryan, who was married to Jeri Ryan -- yes, 7 of 9 -- found out the hard way), so.
Otherwise, can't top what acethepug said, especially for Obama snarking on Republicans over the CNBC debate (or harangue, really). Um, the Republicans did fight back, and everyone just forgot about Obama refusing a Fox News debate in 2007, plus the Fox News perma-ban when he was first elected?
Wonder if someone will ask Busiek and Waid about Hillary laughing over Carly Florina being strangled, or something.

Personally I feel like all the current candidates are a few tacos short of a combination plate due to various character defects and faults in their personalities. How is it the bar for being a world leader keeps getting lowered every election since the early 1900s?
