How can a fictional character truly think anything about Donald Trump?

The Marvel editor Sana Amanat went on Late Night with Seth Meyers to use the opportunity to bash Republicans like Donald Trump for taking all the positions she so despises. The host made himself look silly for starters, but Amanat went along with it and, when he asked what her committee creation Kamala Khan would say to Trump, she replied:
The first thing she would say is that he’s doing such irreparable damage to young Americans, and minorities everywhere. Words and images are really powerful, and these young kids are actually having a perception of themselves that’s not true, and that’s so dangerous. And then she’d probably remind him that his grandfather was an immigrant, I believe, and if he’d had the same type of vitriolic sentiment thrown at him, Trump would not have had the opportunities he’s had, or the success that he’s had. And then she’d probably fly off with the Avengers and save the world from actual bad guys, and prove him wrong about who Muslims really are.
Naturally, we have to wonder who and what those actual bad guys are. But I guess the answer isn't too hard to find: conservatives! Patriots worried about civilized citizens' safety too. And maybe even families of 9-11 victims.

I know Meyers was probably joking when he technically asked Amanat to channel her beliefs through a fictional character. But honestly, it's just an unintelligent, cheap way of asking to know one's mindset through a fictional creation. Kind of like asking what the protagonists in Donald Sobol's Encyclopedia Brown series would say about a real life topic. But truly, how could they say anything when they don't exist? Or like asking what the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew would say, when not only do they not exist in real life, even the names "Franklin W. Dixon" and "Carolyn Keene" aren't real; just pseudonyms for whomever Edward Stratameyer and his daughter Harriet Adams would hire to ghost-write the series.

And all she's doing by venting such hostility to conservatives is showing her true colors, and proving that she's not serious about promoting simple escapist entertainment. A very sad case indeed.

Way to show off your virtue signaling, Ms. Amanat.

They could have just shown this clip, instead, which explains Marvel in 20 seconds:

(For those not wanting to check the link, it's South Park riffing on Whoopi Goldberg, or the infamous "Republicans are so stupid" scene.)

The leftists are hysterical about Trump. He refuses to parrot the PC party line that is followed by both political parties (unrestricted mass immigration is inherently good, and Islam is a peaceable religion that has absolutely nothing whatever to do with terrorism). Worse, he could possibly win the election.

Trump's ancestors were immigrants, but they did not share the same ideology as terrorists who were actively murdering innocent victims in America and Europe. And they came to the US when immigrants were expected to get jobs, learn English, and assimilate. That was before the public welfare system expanded beyond all reason.

Many immigrants today are actually "fleeing" from countries where able-bodied young adults are expected to work, and public assistance programs are only for children, the elderly, and the disabled.

And Kamala Khan would lecture Trump about tolerance before going off to fight the "real" villains? Meaning, of course, right-wing bigots.

Quick quiz:

The San Bernardino massacre, the Mali massacre, the Paris massacre, the Ft. Hood hospital rampage, the Chattanooga recruiting station attack, Benghazi, the Boston Marathon bombing, the Charlie Hebdo murders, 9-11, the 1993 WTC bombing, the Achille Lauro hijacking, the TWA hijacking, and the Pan Am bombing were all committed by:

A. Israel
B. Donald Trump
C. The Tea Party
D. Fox News
E. Vietnam veterans
F. Gulf War veterans
G. right-wing militia
H. Muslims

I'd go with I. Liberals seeking to create a socio-political climate for their own use. As for the current Ms. Marvel, if it wasn't for the current subconscious atmosphere she'd be a C-List casualty in a Big Event, she's that bland and forgettable.
