How are writers responding to the mass jihad attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando?

movie theater, club, or church.
The only thing safe is the Second Amendment.
No. You're not. https://t.co/3USA2nXKFz https://t.co/saY5djAeuI— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) June 12, 2016
The problem isn't gun control OR mental health.— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) June 12, 2016
Don't hide behind one issue to ignore the other.
We can work on BOTH at the same time.
For a leftist like Slott, psychology can never possibly be a problem. When he answers a guy who told him the club members could've defended themselves had they been able to carry guns, he says:
Delete your account.— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) June 12, 2016
. https://t.co/6x8dlBv2i9
Maybe he should just shed his own for a change. There's no point in mimicking Hilary Clinton.

Unless they're liberals like Slott.
I think my chances are better in a place without unfettered access to firearms and assault weapons. https://t.co/7Cse4XZDtF— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) June 12, 2016
Got my 1st "they would've just used a knife" comment— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) June 12, 2016
That level of stupid is my cut off point.
Fresh air & talking w/ people w/o keyboards!
But as it so happens, the perpetrators could've used knives. There was a horrible case last year, right here in Jerusalem, where a Haredi crackpot from an isolationist-type background stabbed several people at a LGBT parade march in the summer, and murdered a 16-year-old girl who wasn't even a lesbian. The authorities have to shoulder much of the blame for failing to take any steps to prevent that monster from committing his repulsive crime. Many rabbis condemned the crime and made clear that, no matter how much they disagree with practice of homosexuality, it's no excuse for murder and violating the Commandment against it. I don't seem to recall Slott or any of his leftist colleagues ever condemning that tragic incident. Perhaps violence by religious fanatics of Haredi backgrounds doesn't exactly concern them?
Most illegal guns come from legal sales in other states.— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) June 12, 2016
The sheer amount of guns we have in the U.S. IS the problem https://t.co/Gh0C7AuaLf
Keep going with those flaccid defenses, which collapse instantly. There's black marketeering of weapons globally, but most important of course, is how educational systems are failing.
And the highest # of gun-related deaths in the world.— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) June 12, 2016
If only there were some correlation we could draw from that. https://t.co/Ypn6FOOdUf
I've got a hunch he doesn't want to live in Israel because there's thankfully laws today permitting self-defense, not unlike what the USA offers.
Medical reports have shown that guns do kill people.— Dan Slott (@DanSlott) June 12, 2016
They're called "gunshot wounds". Not "people wounds". https://t.co/YwhTvdnSs9
So mindsets and education are never at fault in these cases? As expected, Slott keeps floating around in fantasyland.
Let's turn to Ron Marz. What does he consider a big issue here? As you could probably guess:
Sales of AR-15 rifles will go UP after today's horror. And that's just the way the @NRA wants it. https://t.co/cTMg0xxqyw— Ron Marz (@ronmarz) June 12, 2016
But no condemnation of the shooter's ideology and what led him to commit the horror? Now, here's G. Willow Wilson, whose answer is predictable:
You can't explicitly connect Islamophobic rhetoric to hate crimes, then preach homophobia in the mosque, then act surprised at this.— G. Willow Wilson (@GWillowWilson) June 12, 2016
But you can connect the Koran's nasty standing on homosexuality - such as verse 7:81 - to what happened. So her blabbery excuses are meaningless.
Let's now look at Gail Simone. She says:
The shootings in Orlando are horrible. We had no idea. Speechless right now.— GAIL SIMONE (@GailSimone) June 12, 2016
No idea that the perpetrator was an Islamofascist? I vaguely recall her downplaying the seriousness of the issue on the Dixonverse forum. How can we buy that she's really concerned?
Don't be fooled by the fake sentiments from politicians. Follow @igorvolsky to see actions say more than 'thoughts and prayers.'— GAIL SIMONE (@GailSimone) June 12, 2016
Don't be fooled by her fake sentiments either. She's decidedly a phony if she won't condemn the education source of the shooter.
I don't have any useful wisdom except to say I dearly love the lgbtq I am fortunate enough to know. Love is all.— GAIL SIMONE (@GailSimone) June 12, 2016
If she did, then she'd worry about the Koran's verses. But all people like her worry about is Christianity/Judaism.
Orlando is a lovely place, full of friendly, kind people. And they are coming together everywhere.— GAIL SIMONE (@GailSimone) June 12, 2016
Yes, far more than Mrs. Simone happens to be.
Now for Kurt Busiek, albeit here, I'm going to post it via an answer given by another Twitter user:
@KurtBusiek @SpeakerRyan a Muslim shoots up a gay bar, and you blame a republican?— Gary (@chipperrules) June 12, 2016
The guy's right. An Islamofascist followed his Religion of Rape's view of homosexuals, and all Busiek cares about are conservatives? In that case, Kurt's not worried at all. He's just doing a two-sides-of-same-coin tactic. On the one hand, he claims to be in favor of homosexuality at all costs, yet that support grinds to a halt when Islam rears its ugly head. As Milo Yiannapoulous says, the left's chosen Islam over homosexuality, and now look what's happened. Now for Ed Brubaker:
The constant horror of 21st century humanity is just too fucking much... Be decent to each other, it's not that hard to do.— Ed Brubaker (@brubaker) June 12, 2016
Looks like he can't bring himself to name the religion that led to this tragedy either. It's hard for one side to be decent when they adhere to Islam.
‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens https://t.co/hEdu5pJJMN via @theonion— Ed Brubaker (@brubaker) June 12, 2016
Yet Ed doesn't seem particularly interested in recommending a way to prevent massacres like this from happening either.
I look forward to Congress working closely with President Obama to ensure this national tragedy is never repeated.— Ed Brubaker (@brubaker) June 12, 2016
There's just one little thing: will president Obama and other Democrats work closely with the GOP to ensure it never happens again? However, wait'll you see what this following artist/writer named Sarah Horrocks has to say:
Christians literally worship the same God as muslims. Your religion comes from the same damn place!— Sarah Horrocks (@mercurialblonde) June 12, 2016
Also who blew up that planned parenthood this year? Who shot up that church last year?Who is passing bills criminalizing being transgender?— Sarah Horrocks (@mercurialblonde) June 12, 2016
Who required the Supreme Court to intervene to give gay people marriage equality? HINT: IT WASN'T MUSLIMS.— Sarah Horrocks (@mercurialblonde) June 12, 2016
Umm, even if it wasn't Muslims per se, what if it turns out there's any who supported the opposition?
The bedrock of bigotry toward the lgbtq community in this country is Christianity. That is an inescapable fact.— Sarah Horrocks (@mercurialblonde) June 12, 2016
Journalists, this would be a good week to confront politicians with their own hateful lgbtq rhetoric and laws as they try to attack muslims— Sarah Horrocks (@mercurialblonde) June 12, 2016
Very fascinating. This woman is trying to divert attention from pertinent issues and heap it all on an easy target: Christianity. She's probably not even disturbed that just a few weeks ago, Orlando hosted a Muslim cleric who called for death to gays and lesbians. Say, if she's really so bothered, then is she mad at any LGBT advocates who may pan Muslims too? How pathetically cheap she is. Same goes for Gerry Conway's reaction:
What a disgusting way to dishonor the spirit of Ramadan. https://t.co/Cfqsx1a8UR— Gerry Conway (@gerryconway) June 12, 2016
What a pathetic show of knowledge from somebody who either didn't read the Koran, or is so callous he sees nothing wrong with it.
The reaction of many Floridians to the shooting in Orlando will undoubtedly be shock and horror that there are gay people in Florida.— Gerry Conway (@gerryconway) June 12, 2016
Conway's reaction is probably that a Muslim pulled this sickening act, and not a Christian and/or conservative.
"A history of America doing nothing in response to mass shootings" Nothing is what we do best these days. https://t.co/JC4KunECop— Gerry Conway (@gerryconway) June 12, 2016
Nothing is what liberals like Conway do best these days. The guy's long made a joke out of himself, leaving one to wonder why he'd ever bother creating the Punisher if he never liked the vigilante approach he ascribed to Frank Castle.
In the end, if anything's clear, it's that, while leftists may uphold homosexuality when Christianity/Judaism object, they'll abandon homosexuality when Islam objects. Even the above lefty examples may know that, but won't ever admit it. They're simply not fit to speak on the issues any more than they are writing comics and movies.
Labels: islam and jihad, moonbat artists, moonbat writers, politics, violence
In fairness to Conway, the Punisher was originally an antagonist. He was, at best, an anti-hero or a semi-sympathetic villain. Throughout the 1970's and into the early 1980's, he fought Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Captain America. It was later (the 1980's), when Marvel wanted to exploit the fad for action movie heroes (e.g., Rambo), that the Punisher was given his own self-titled comic (and about half a million spin-off series), and was portrayed as a hero.

Once again, a Muslim terrorist commits mass murder. And, as usual, the leftists are doing back flips and contortions, trying to come up with convoluted explanations for why the NRA and Christianity are to blame.
Slott blames the availability of firearms and says he likes his chances better in a place without access to them. But every mass shooting in the US in the past fifty years took place in a designated gun-free zone.
Gail Simone: "We had no idea." There were plenty of red flags. The killer had behaved suspiciously, and had made terroristic threats, but no action was taken, because of dhimmitude and political correctness. He even called the police and declared allegiance to ISIS before carrying out the attack.
From San Bernardino to Fort Hood to Orlando, political correctness kills innocent people.
The Atlantic posited a "loose connection" between the rampage and Christian "anti-trans rhetoric." Of course, there is no possibility of a connection to the imam in Orlando who called for the execution of homosexuals.
The president of the Human Rights Campaign said on MSNBC that the tragedy was the result of a "deranged person taught to hate by a preacher on Sunday morning."
WTF? Omar Mateen was not a Christian, and did not attend church on Sunday. He regularly attended a mosque, the Ft. Pierce Islamic Center. The mosque may have ties to terrorist groups. It was investigated by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, but the investigation was blocked by Hillary Clinton's State Department.
Of course, the politicians are carefully avoiding any mention of Islam. And they still plan to import 200,000 Muslim immigrants every year. With no more stringent vetting procedures than those that Omar Mateen and Tashfeen Malik passed.
And they are exploiting the atrocity to call for more anti-gun laws. Never let a tragedy go to waste.

The comic-community comments about this tragedy are stunningly delusional.
At least G. Willow Wilson acknowledges that "homophobia" is spoken in mosques -- though calling it mere "homophobia" is a massive understatement -- but why on earth is she presaging that remark with something about Islamophobia and hate-crimes? Islamophobia did not cause this to happen.
You also had Pia Guerra blaming it on Donald Trump. Somehow that makes sense in a liberal's mind.
The worst I've seen so far is the inclusion of this article on Bleeding Cool, which is rapidly going downhill these days:
http://www.bleedingcool.com/2016/06/14/one-million-moms-post-the-least-appropriate-response-to-orlando-shootings-to-date/
They are literally more concerned about what a Christian group SAYS about the tragedy than they are concerned about the actual Islamic group that inspired and directed it.
People who think this way are DANGEROUSLY delusional and put all of us at risk. It is getting to the point that I think these people are a serious and direct threat to the safety of everyone around them. Their delusions are so severe now that everyone else is in direct physical risk. You and I and everyone else with a working brain should realize that if one of these liberals saw a Muslim loading a gun and strapping a bomb to his chest, the liberal would NOT SAY ANYTHING or warn anyone, out of fear of seeming "bigoted".
