Leftist director was hired to helm Flash movie
According to this news, film director Rick Fumiyama was contracted to direct WB's planned movie version of the Flash. But this is regrettable, because Fumiyama recently directed HBO's TV movie Confirmation, an apparently biased take on Justice Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill. Hmm, I wonder if Geoff Johns approves of hiring him? This movie-based Flash project certainly isn't off to a good start with such questionable choices for staff members.
That's too bad. And the casting of Barry Allen very weird as well. Seems WB is making a lot of bad decisions when it comes to their DC movies.
