A British writer's experiences reading Peanuts and Snoopy

Here's an article in the UK Financial Times by their food editor, where he tells the history of the Peanuts comic strip he'd grown up on himself, to coincide with an exhibition on Charles Schultz's creations being held in Somerset House.

Yeah, when I first read the article 3 days before, it was one of the few I'd ever found there that could be read in full without subscription, but evidently, the chance only lasts a few days before they restrict access. It's the same with the Wall Street Journal. Sad there's a number of papers, financial or otherwise, that demand subscription registrations to access even their entertainment and history articles.

About me

  • I'm Avi Green
  • From Jerusalem, Israel
  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
