Dixon lost a creative partner because of the left

The following from Chuck Dixon, if true, is very sad:

This is just another sign of the medium's cascade downhill into a liberal quicksand. One can only wonder if any of the top brass at the Big Two had any involvement in this case, which compounds how far gone their own managements have become. Let's hope, whatever Dixon's next venture is, he'll be able to find more creative partners who don't allow themselves to be intimidated by the leftist freaks in comicdom.

Unless you are dependent on the mob for your work, it's best to keep off of social media entirely. In fact, that's a good rule for anyone not interested in being a target in the left's "wak a mole" game.

...is that the real reason, or is there something going on behind the scenes?

I’d like to learn more about this. If it’s an independent project, yeah, that’s outrageous. But if the potential collaborator agreed to do the project then found out it would be published through Vox Day... then I can completely understand them wanting to bow out and not be associated with the project. If it’s the latter, I wouldn’t blame them because any rational person would want to avoid being published by a white supremacist anti-Semite and blaming the left for that is dishonest. Then again, we don’t know which scenario is the case. I wish Dixon would personally distance himself from Vox Day and denounce his views. There would be a lot less guessing then.

I felt like Dixon had a few skid marks on his record even before getting involved with someone this controversial like Vox Day like the incident that could be informally known as "Spoiler: One-Night Stand Baby Mama". Still, it feels like all the Old Guard (those still alive that is) have lost their touch if not their marbles in this high-paced modern go-go world.

  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
