Ethan Van Sciver stops collaboration with Dave Sim

Van Sciver wrote several days ago, following allegations Cerebus creator Sim had groomed an underaged girl for sex before having relations with her at age 21, that:

No collaboration with Dave Sim.

Sorry for whoever that disappoints, but I think it is for the best.

I think it's a sage decision, since Sim has been a very fishy character for decades already. What's been brought up now might be hearsay at this point, but even so, Sim's visions are still pretty tasteless. There's also a video discussing the case here, which shows a screenshot of a comment Sim made on a blog dedicated to his past work on Cerebus:

All that said, I did notice a handful of anti-Comicsgate tweeters talking about this who didn't sound like they were being altruistic when they brought it up, and likely wouldn't have if Sim hadn't been offered a job by a conservative.

So despite the morally questionable acts of Sim, the BC website is still promoting his wares? Well, can't say I'm surprised. Nor is it shocking if the really atrocious offenders continue to be ignored by the SJW/NPC crowd in the forseeable future.
